In addition to the new home construction project underway at 2118 Forest Avenue, Habitat for Humanity Lansing wants to partner with residents in the surrounding neighborhood. This Neighborhood Revitalization program calls for new programs to help lower- to middle-income families live in safe, decent, affordable housing. Rather than only building new homes, the Neighborhood Revitalization program, called Rock the Block, has the goal of making existing homes safer and more affordable. Rock the Block is being launched in this neighborhood because your local affiliate in Lansing has a goal to double the number of families it serves.
