Phil and Millie Heinz are more than just monthly donors, they are true champions of Habitat for Humanity Capital Region. Their unwavering support, time, and resources have made a significant difference in the lives of many families.
Their journey with the organization began when they first volunteered their time and skills to assist with building Habitat homes and supporting fundraising events, including the annual Home-in-One Golf Outing and Women Build.
The duo's passion and dedication to the cause were evident from the start. Then, they became monthly donors in 2021, providing Habitat Capital Region with access to reliable, sustainable funding year round.
Phil and Millie have made it a priority to give back to their
community through Habitat Capital Region. When asked about their motivation, Millie explained, “We feel that Habitat Capital Region provides people with a sense of pride and dignity, and we really wanted to get behind that. It’s really amazing to meet the homeowners and see how proud and happy they are. We pay it forward, they pay it forward.”
Phil and Millie feel privileged to be part of so many people’s
