Habitat for Humanity Capital Region is pleased to announce that Brent Taylor has joined the organization to serve as President & CEO. This is an exciting new chapter for the mid-michigan nonprofit.
Taylor, who succeeds Vicki Hamilton-Allen, has extensive organizational development and non-profit leadership experience, with over three decades of experience across corporate, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit organizations. He served as the President & CEO at the Wyakin Foundation in Boise, Idaho for over five years before returning to his home state of Michigan last year.
“As a native of the Capital Region, I’m thrilled for the opportunity to lead an organization that is making a tangible difference and creating meaningful change in our communities. I’m privileged to be part of those efforts,” said Taylor.
“Our board of directors is thrilled to introduce a leader of Brent’s caliber to our organization,” said Habitat Capital Region Board Chairperson, Nicole Noll-Williams. “Brent has years of experience in nonprofit leadership and has the expertise to grow Habitat Capital Region into an even greater, more successful organization and to build lasting progress for affordable housing in our community.”
